I’ve never tasted Ice Wine but I have read a bit about it and I’ve even seen a show on the Fine Living Channel about it. It’s kind of expensive for my liking, maybe that’s why I haven’t “invested” in a bottle, I don’t know.
Anyway, Verena Dobnik for the Associated Press writes about an upstate New York winemaker, Hunt Country Vineyards in Branchport, NY and how hard ice wine is to harvest and make.
